Seriously, do i need to say more, just go watch the opening cinematics and all the videos for it over and over until midnight tonight, im going to a midnight release and ill be playing it all through the night, so if i get a chance i might try to post from it. Also im getting the limited edition, since it’s actually a good deal for only 10 bucks more
I figured that i would go and try to sneak one by you guys. Wonder how low on the hits meter this one will reach. Anyways it has been effing freeeeezing out the past couple of days. Had to work yesterday and it was at 28 degrees when it was 5:45. Mind you i was working til 10 so it got colder and colder, hell it even snowed for a bit (didn’t stick to the ground thankfully). Phillies won the world series, which i am glad about even though that i dont watch baseball. Gears of War 2 is right around the corner, next friday to be exact. Which copy are you getting? Regular, Limited Edition? Are you picking it up from eb/gamestop, best buy, circuit city? Even though i know of people that have already played it, im still wondering how many will pick it up at midnight. Also it looks like Bandai Namco is bringing back the classic Splatterhouse franchise. Too bad that it wont see halloween time this year (eta was april last i checked.) But this does not mean that there wont be a shortage of great games to play from now til January. Seeing as how Street Fighter 4 comes out in January. It might be the kick in the pants that the fighting genre has been needing for a while, since its grabbing new and old gamers alike, and its going to have online matches which will be sweet. If you haven’t noticed already ( even though its quite obvious ) my gamer tag and stuff is posted on the sidebar so like it says, feel free to add my gamer tag ( Jenag in case you cant see the card ) well aside from that theres been some rumors and decent teasers floating about the internet as of late. Things such as Left 4 Dead, which looks even better since it was announced was hinted at a possible November release by Doug Lombardi. He also hinted at there possibly being a free weekend, and the likeliness of a demo to be released as well.
Also now proven true is the recent surfacing of some Gears of War 2 rumors about the multiplayer. Some of the big ones being that GoW2 is around 65% complete, Hammerhead Grunt Locust revealed and named as such because of his shark looking helmet, Chainsaw Duels: Whoever does the quickest amount of “B” button tapping will be victorious, Your teammates can help give you an edge in the duel by shooting the opponent which will give you the upper hand on the “B” button mini-game, No duel will occur if a player is chainsawed from behind. Instead, the sexy “butt to head” chainsaw animation will kick in giving the attacker and instant kill. More Gaming news in next post.Also maybe some funnies ;D
